Acid is probably one of the most valuable resources inside of once human. You need it to craft so many things, from the healing activators to late game ingots to gunpowder explosive batteries. You need this acid for a lot inside of one's human, so today I'm going to break down four different methods to get acid, two of which can get you a boatload of acid really quickly. Let's go ahead and start off with probably the slowest and most complicated one. 

Polluted Water

That is right. here with this osmosis water purifier you're going to need to have your base inside of an area that has a pollution level to it you will know if it's polluted because your backpack will be lighting up then you're going to need to put a water pump.

you will then take that polluted water you will take that polluted water bring it over here and put it inside of your osmosis this water purifier and you will get two things out you will get pure water and then you will get unpurified acid that's when you're going to have to go over to your Brewing barrel and put pure water and unpurified acid in and you will get acid out

Farming Zombies

The second method that I want to go over right here is obviously farming zombies. You can pick your poison when it comes to where you want to go to kill zombies at the higher level. The more zombies you kill, the more acid they drop.

One thing you will want to unlock if this is going to be your method of grinding acid is this recipe right here called the preserved deviated chop. You can get this recipe by unlocking the dishes 3 category in the logistic side of your tree, and what this will do is it's going to increase the acid gain by 50% when you're defeating deviants. That's definitely going to cut back on the amount of time that 's definitely going to cut back on the amount of time that you have to spend out there grinding out acid. 

Energy

The third method that I want to go over is in the Black Fell campsite over here. You're going to want to make your way up to one of these vending machines. On these trucks, you can see there's several different items that you can actually trade for acid, which is useful.

You can also buy out acid using energy, which is the main currency inside of this game. There are several ways you can go about getting it, one of which involves smelting precious ores, but in order to smelt these special ores, you need to have the precious metal smelting specialization talent, and from what I understand, these are a bit of RNG. Those vending machine trucks are player vehicles and vending machines selling people's acid.

Stardust

Our fourth method comes into play. Something you need to keep your eye out for is the one titled Art of Stardust Decay. This one is huge, mainly because you unlock a new formula and you are now able to craft acid using your electric furnace. This is actually wild, and you can see that the recipe requires this stardust source. Like I said with this specialization menu here, I'm not sure if these come at random, but I unlocked this at the 9th one, so if these are all universally set the same, then keep your eye out on that ninth unlock. If they are random, hopefully it does get picked up on your way through these specialization lists. I'm not 100% sure how this works at the moment.
