7 Free Cozy Games on Steam for Stress-Relief

A cozy game is one you can play that is relaxing, has cute elements, and isn't too intensely graphic or technical today. I compiled a list of seven free PC cozy games that you need to download yesterday. I'm not kidding, these games are amazing, and I have been playing them nonstop. Also, they're free, so give them a chance, and worse comes to worse, you just uninstall, remove them from your library, and move on to the next cozy game.

Jivana

Jivana is a story-based adventure game. If you're looking for a game that also has things like water bending in it, definitely play this game. This game was so much fun to play, but the story is pretty short. I think I completed this game in about 1 hour. Jivana uses her ability to manipulate water and lead your people to safety.

Sky: Children of the Light

One of my favorite cozy games Sky: Children of the Light is a free-to-play cozy game that has just been released on PC and is playable on every other console. Explore a beautifully animated kingdom across seven realms and create enriching memories with other players in this delightful puzzle-adventure game. Yep, the best thing is that it's Multiplayer.

Kinoko

Kinoko is another short game. This game is very simple. This is a casual Indie-like cute game. The graphics on this game are extremely choppy, and basically you're playing as a character who wants it to be spring, melting like the snow and bringing like the warmth back.

Verdi

Verdi is an adorable game in which you pick a plant pot succulents tend to them and watch them grow. The calming music along with the soothing colors used in the graphics makes this game a place where you can escape the real world and tend to your plants within the game you can visit.

Palia

Palia is shaping up to be one of the biggest cozy games of 2024. It has a lot of things. Craft, cook, fish, and farm with friends with tons of puzzles. The game is available for PC and Switch and has multiplayer. If you love this genre, give it a try.

Lay

Lay is one of the games I did not get to play yet, but this game looks absolutely breathtaking, so relaxing, and so much fun to play. Immerse yourself in this adventure of poetic and contemplative exploration. As the least young explorer full of energy, this mysterious world awaits you to overflow with color and life.

Plant Therapy

In plant therapy, you will have an apartment in which you tend to your garden and watch it. The more you water your plants, the more coins you get. The more you feed your plants, the more coins you get. You may then use those coins at the plant shop to purchase additional plants, pots, fertilizer, and knick-knacks for your apartment.
